All domains are priced at $15.00 USD annually.
What is a domain?

Your domain name is what you will use in your website address.
For example, if you look in your address bar at the top of the browser, you are viewing a page with the URL 'http://www.fiddlefart.net...' - fiddlefart.net is the domain name. The domain directs your browser to a specific IP address in which to find your content.

A sub-domain would be a lower level domain. An example might be support.fiddlefart.net.

Not everyone uses a domain name to hold a website. If you wish to not have any hosting (no content), you may use what is called a parked domain. This is much like placing a 'holder' on the domain name of your choice so others won't be able to purchase it.
Choose your domain wisely!

When choosing your domain name, you should keep in mind who your target audience is going to be. You may also want to consider what you will be calling your site. It is usually a good practice to include the domain name in your site's name or vice versa. i.e if someone is looking for horses for sale, most likely they won't remember a name like ourdairyfarm .com.

Length may be a factor also. While you may choose a name up to 67 characters long, keep in mind that not many people can remember that long of a name. But on the other hand, if you shorten it, for example if I chose to call a site ff .com (for fiddlefart), they may not associate the two.

There has actually been a few individuals in the past that wrote me to project their disapproval of my domain name. It offended them. Fiddlefart is a term that has been around longer than most of the writers of the complaints I received. BUT, the name is memorable!

These are all just guidelines that I pass on to my customers, but for the serious customers, naming a domain/website is much like naming a child in some ways.
